Best Warframe Harmony Build (2024)

Harmony went live alongside other weapons during the Jade Shadows update. This scythe is considered one of the best melee items in the game right now, even if Jade does not wield it. Farming this weapon's component and main blueprints can be quite a chore since you can only do so in a specific operation. Afterward, you must put in the best mods to maximize its damage. This guide will show players how to unlock the Warframe Harmony weapon and the best mods.

Harmony Overview

Harmony has established itself as one of the strongest melees because of its ability to detonate DoT status Effects to inflict total damage. On top of this, it can also increase Status Durations upon kills, which means you gain more with its damage-over-time activations. Allied Warframes also gained this extended Status Effect period, which made Harmony even more potent in squads.

How to Unlock the Harmony Weapon

You need to obtain the blueprint of the Harmony Weapon before you can start crafting it. You can get this in two ways: from Ascension Operations and Ordis in the Larunda Relay on Mercury. The first method requires you to complete the latest Warframe game mode runs. Finishing Ascension runs has a 5% chance of dropping the blueprint for Harmony.

Alternatively, you can use Vestigial Motes gained from Ascension runs to buy the blueprint from Ordis in the Larunda Relay on Mercury. It will cost you around 300 of this currency to purchase the schematics. Unfortunately, you only gain a small number of motes every run, so you have to do at least 30 Ascensions to have enough Vestigials to buy the blueprint. Here is everything you need to craft the Harmony weapon:

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 5,000 Alloy Plate
  • 500 Plastids
  • 20 Gallium
  • 18 Morphics

Best Warframe Harmony Mods

Once you’ve crafted Harmony, your next step is to rank it up so you can start filling it out with mods. While many options are available, we found a great build to maximize the damage the weapon’s Heavy Attacks dealt. Here are the best mods to use for the Harmony weapon:

Max DPS Output Build

  • Reaping Spiral (Stance): This mod allows you to do multiple combos to help you stack more DoT status Effects with each hit. In addition, you also gain more maneuverability with this Stance.
  • Discipline’s Merit: Discipline Merits allows you to actively use Heavy attacks by activating Tennokai with every four melee hits. It will enable you proc Harmonic Resonance as many times as you can.
  • Condition Overload: This mod compliments Harmonic Resonance since it increases your damage depending on the number of unique Status Effects active on a target. It also multiplies the total damage enemies take every time you use your Heavy Attack.
  • Melee Elementalist: Melee Elementalist further ramps up the damage you deal via Status Effects. It provides an additional +90% DPS per DoT. The 60% wind up for your Heavy Attacks ensures you take less time activating Harmonic Resonance.
  • Amalgam Organ Shatter: While it doesn’t ramp up your Status Effects damage, it does increase your Critical Damage by +85%, impacting your DoTs and other attack sources. It also increases the wind-up speed of your Heavy Attack, which combines well with Melee Elementalist.
  • Weeping Wounds: It doesn’t directly impact your damage, but it increases the chance of you inflicting Status Chances per Combos, which combines well with Reaping Spiral. Since you increase the times you can apply Status Effects, you can indirectly ramp up your overall damage with Harmonic Resonance.
  • Blood Rush: This mod compliments Reaping Spiral instead of Harmony itself. Blood Rush increases your Crit Chance by +40% per Combo Multiplier, which increases to tremendous lengths due to the Stance’s multiple combo attacks.
  • Primed Smite Corrupted: This mod increases your damage against Corrupted enemies by x1.55. This ensures you don’t take too long fighting certain enemies.
  • Primed Reach: The mod increases the Range of your weapon by +3, which ensures you can stack more Status Effects on more people due to a broader reach. At the same time, it lets you hit more affected enemies with your Heavy to activate Harmonic Resonance.
  • Killing Blow: Since Harmony is big on Heavy Attacks, Killing Blow increases the base damage of Heavies by +120% and wind-up speed by +60%. While it doesn’t ramp up Harmonic Resonance, its boost to Heavy Attacks makes Harmony more powerful.

Arcane: Melee Afflictions — The newest Arcane addition seems to be explicitly made for Harmony. Melee Afflictions gain six more stacks of currently existing Status Effects when knocked down or displaced by melee attacks. Since Harmony procs its passive with its Heavy, you apply an additional six stacks before activating Harmonic Resonance, which further ramps up the damage dealt.

Alternate Build

  • Reaping Spiral (Stance): This mod allows you to do multiple combos to help you stack more DoT status Effects with each hit. In addition, you also gain more maneuverability with this Stance.
  • Dispatch Overdrive: Dispatch Overdrive gives you more survivability because it boosts your Movement Speed by +60% for 15 seconds for every Heavy Attack hit. This will allow you to reposition yourself after activating Harmonic Resonance, which helps you avoid oncoming damage after being stationary.
  • Primed Reach: The mod increases the Range of your weapon by +3, which ensures you can stack more Status Effects on more people due to a broader reach. At the same time, it lets you hit more affected enemies with your Heavy to activate Harmonic Resonance.
  • Melee Elementalist: Melee Elementalist further ramps up the damage you deal via Status Effects. It provides an additional +90% DPS per DoT. The 60% wind up for your Heavy Attacks ensures you take less time activating Harmonic Resonance.
  • Lasting Sting: Increasing the duration of a Status Effect means a target takes more DoT. Since Lasting Sting increases the duration by +110%, the mod ramps up the damage dealt when Harmonic Resonance Activates.
  • Corrupt Charge: This mod ensures that you don’t rely on Harmonic Resonance to deal damage but instead use your combos to apply more DoTs and deal with more base attacks. Corrupt Charge adds +30 to your Initial Combo while reducing the rest timer by –50% to execute the next one.
  • Gladiator Might: Glad Might increases your total damage, which applies to Harmonic Resonance and direct attacks. You gain +60% on your Crit Damage while increasing your Crit Chance by 10% per combo multiplier, which ramps up due to the Reaping Spiral stance.
  • Sac Steel: While the bonus damage Sentients is a welcome addition, we take this mod primarily for the +220% Crit Chance bonus. It increases by x2 when using Heavy Attacks. This mod essentially ramps up your overall damage to great lengths.

Arcane: Fury and Roar — Due to the number of damage and crit multipliers in this build, using Fury and Roar seems like an excellent choice to increase your melee damage even further. This Arcane provides a 60% chance to increase your melee attacks by +180% for 18 seconds when you land Critical Hits. While it doesn’t directly impact Harmonic Resonance, it does improve Harmony’s base fighting efficiency.
