Tim you are too funny, I wished you had walked around to the front of his vehicle so we could see you live.:roflmao: There was a huge puddle he was parked in and I had a hard time getting him to come out to talk, he was standing in water when he did. He had just been hit by a wave so he was wet. He is going to be here tomorrow too.

Thanks, Maureen...we had a gorgeous dune loaded with grasses, sea oats, etc...sprinkler system....we just left from down there on Tuesday and the entire dune is wiped out. Oh, well, my husband loves a project, now he has something to do! LOL

That was your house - I watched as he ran across the street -cool. It is almost 5 houses south of my rental where I lived for the past 8 years. I am across the street. I watched as you, or the prvious owners, replaced that big window on the north side. The guy that owns the house to your north (Birdsong) owns another near my house. The house to your south is in our rental program - my wife inspects it in the summer. Tiller owns it.He went to visit another house near yours that my wife and I met at in 1985. It was an oceanfront three north of yours. How much is that service per year?Mark seemed like a nice guy.

Tim, how cool! We actually rented the Birdsong cottage a few years ago, during one of the 'canes. My friend, Mindy, whose house he also checked out, owns the house right next door to the Birdsongs. Small world! We have not seen John Tiller in a long time, but he is a super guy. Woman next door to him is completely nuts, though. (Seriously). That was us replacing that big window - I think we paid something like $105 at Builders Surplus...LOL...if you were watching, then you should have come over and lent a hand...LOL...it was HEAVY! Hurricane Tracker is only $24.95 per YEAR - I only heard about it today on here, joined immediately and hooked up. It's worth it to me if I only watched it today and tomorrow! We will be back down Monday. Stop by some time and say hello!!!

He was at Hayman access when the policeman approached him. He put a camera on the deck of our house, which is at Chowan and Beach Road in KDH. The water was already breaching Hayman access at midnight...ugh...and the drive from KDH to KH Hilton Garden Inn at 1 a.m. was already a little rough with debris in the road. It is not pretty.

Coastie, thanks so much for the offer...I didn't see the message until now...actually, the guy from hurricanetrack.com had a camera on my deck, so he did an assessment for me this morning, as a courtesy. He said he would be heading downto the S curves after he checks out of his hotel....about an hour from right now....He'll have a dead signal for about 25 minutes while traveling down that way,but should be able to have a signal in Rodanthe. I am so addicted to this guy...getting absolutley no work done!!!!! Again!!!!!
